We’ve listened to our clients and leveraged insight to launch RealityPlatform™. The new user interface streamlines the management of various data sources, allowing for easy handling of point clouds, meshes, and Prevu3D design projects within a single platform.

RealityPlatform™ highlights

RealityPlatform is an innovative point cloud hosting solution that processes reality capture data into accessible, manageable, and shareable 3D environments. With this new release, we’re opening up the doors for engineers to streamline their workflows like never before.

Point cloud hosting and viewing solution

Introducing our point cloud hosting solution with a new user interface that simplifies managing various data sources. With RealityPlatform, you can effortlessly view, manage, and share all your point cloud files. Experience seamless point cloud hosting, viewing, and sharing capabilities with our dedicated point cloud viewer.

Management per site

We’re transitioning from a one-dimensional project-based system to a site-based organization. In this new structure, site folders can be created with metadata, including the following data types:

• Point cloud
• RealityMesh
• Design layout in RealityPlan

This shift allows for better organization and management of data within specific sites, enabling more efficient workflows and improved collaboration.

 

New pricing model and usage

We’re introducing a new pricing model that offers competitive and accessible rates for hosting, streaming and processing reality capture data.

For $399 per year, users can enjoy

• 50G of hosting and processing capacity and
• 120GB of data streaming per year.

Additionally, our pricing includes unlimited web users, with the only limitation being the data streaming capacity. We’ve also implemented a new data consumption model with usage monitoring, allowing you to easily track and manage your data usage.

 

Collaboration

Our RealityPlatform’s user-friendly interface enables easy collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. It centralizes all projects and files in one place, leading to better visibility and teamwork for efficient decision-making.

Sharing

We offer collaboration tools that enable users to attach notes and documents, collaborate with others, and visualize design layouts created with RealityPlan.
Our enterprise-level platform allows projects to be shared with an unlimited number of users, only limited by subscription data streaming capacity.

RealityPlan Floating License

With the RealityPlan Floating License, managing licenses on the RealityPlatform has never been easier. This feature enhances flexibility and efficiency without the need for human intervention.

Other notable changes

• RealityPlan licenses have become floating licenses.
• Starting RealityPlan requires a license.
• If licenses are not being used, RealityPlatform automatically assigns them.
• To use a license, a user must have a RealityPlatform account with permission granted by the administrator.
• The desktop cannot be used as a viewer; usage must be on the RealityPlatform.
• Users can remain offline for up to 10 days without reconnecting to the Platform.

Advanced user management

We’re introducing enterprise-level advanced user roles and permissions in RealityPlatform to customize access levels and capabilities for individual users. These settings can be tailored to control viewing, editing, deleting, and information sharing. This enhances security, data integrity, and user management by ensuring appropriate access based on responsibilities and requirements.

Centralized data: With RealityPlatform, we eliminate the frustrating task of searching for dormant data with scanning partners. We have witnessed instances where customers wasted months trying to retrieve data from scanning providers, leading to project delays. By centralizing their data on one platform, organizations can centralize, manage, and process point clouds, meshes, and design projects. Users can access it whenever needed for multiple projects, saving valuable time and resources to maximize their reality capture data.

Data Ownership: The benefits of data ownership and centralization are significant. One key advantage is the ability to reuse existing data and prevent duplication of work. It’s not uncommon for different projects within an organization to capture the same space multiple times, wasting time, effort, and resources. By taking control of their data, organizations can avoid this unnecessary redundancy and streamline their workflow.
