Under the guidance of the Product Lead, the Senior Unity Software Engineer holds a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality development and delivery of our various products. This involves close collaboration with our Product Management team and other engineering teams throughout the organization.

As a Senior Unity Software Engineer at Prevu3D you will:

  • Develop products and software solutions within the Unity game engine
  • Maintain the existing code by making modifications as required
  • Prepare reports and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of the software
  • Take care of the release process of the software
  • Provide valuable insights (on architecture, code quality) to the developers under your supervision
  • Present your learnings, technical issues, ideas, improvements, and optimizations to the team and management
  • Guide the team under your supervision by generating architecture and scoping documents

Desired background and skills

  • You have a BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with Unity3D or a similar engine
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software development
  • You can work in English and/or French

Bonus points

  • Experience with meshes and point-clouds
  • Experience with WebGL programming
  • Experience with web development using common frameworks: Frontend (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.) and Backend (cloud services, AWS, Docker, Spring, ASP.NET, etc.)
  • You have a good knowledge of current 3D capture technologies (laser, photogrammetry, etc.)
