Senior Unity Software Engineer

Under the guidance of the Product Lead, the Senior Unity Software Engineer holds a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality development and delivery of our various products. This involves close collaboration with our Product Management team and other engineering teams throughout the organization.

Prevu3D is an emerging software company on a mission to help engineers and key stakeholders in the food production, automotive, energy and manufacturing industries. Our end-to-end platform uses reality capture data to create the most realistic digital twins in the market.
As a Senior Unity Software Engineer at Prevu3D you will:
- Develop products and software solutions within the Unity game engine
- Maintain the existing code by making modifications as required
- Prepare reports and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of the software
- Take care of the release process of the software
- Provide valuable insights (on architecture, code quality) to the developers under your supervision
- Present your learnings, technical issues, ideas, improvements, and optimizations to the team and management
- Guide the team under your supervision by generating architecture and scoping documents
Desired background and skills
- You have a BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field
- You have at least 3 years of experience with Unity3D or a similar engine
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development
- You can work in English and/or French
Bonus points
- Experience with meshes and point-clouds
- Experience with WebGL programming
- Experience with web development using common frameworks: Frontend (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.) and Backend (cloud services, AWS, Docker, Spring, ASP.NET, etc.)
- You have a good knowledge of current 3D capture technologies (laser, photogrammetry, etc.)
